Kenneth D. Roland was a compassionate person that always took time to be a friend and inspire others. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him - life long business associates, friends, and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Roland and his mother, Jessie Bowden. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Roland, son Shannon Roland and his wife Dawn, daughter Heather Dickson and her husband Jim, one brother Glen Roland and his wife Iris, and two sisters Shirley Grimmit and her husband Norman and Linda Lee and her husband Terry. He had 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Roland (22), Savannah Singh (20) and husband Taylor, Dallas Roland (12), Drew Dickson (18), Garrett Dickson (16) and one step-granddaughter Jeanetta Dickson and her son Caleb Bermudez. Ken was known to love people. He enjoyed country and western swing music and playing the fiddle. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed encouraging others spiritually in the congregation and in the public ministry. He was known for his wise sayings, positive attitude, sense of humor, and keen understanding of people that led to his success in life. His memorial service will be held on February 10th at 2 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 735 Kings Estate Rd., St. Augustine FL 32086.
